Ariele Yaffee
Program Director
Ariele brings a diverse professional background to her role as Program Director at Pacific Quest, blending over a decade of legal experience with extensive leadership in nature-based behavioral health. She previously served as a Special Assistant Attorney General for the Rhode Island Attorney General’s Office, Counsel for an international consulting firm, and law clerk to a Rhode Island Supreme Court Justice. Her work in both public service and private practice honed her ability to navigate complex systems, lead cross-functional teams, and translate big-picture strategy into effective day-to-day operations.
Drawn to more direct, human-centered work, Ariele transitioned from the practice of law into outdoor behavioral health. She spent nearly four years in wilderness therapy programs supporting adolescents and young adults navigating complex mental health challenges. Through field leadership, supervision, and program management roles, she developed a deep commitment to structured, relationship-based care grounded in safety, clinical integrity, and experiential growth in outdoor settings. She believes deeply in the importance of our connection to the natural world and its capacity to foster resilience, self-awareness, and lasting change.
As Program Director at Pacific Quest, Ariele integrates operational excellence with Pacific Quest’s integrative, nature-based model of care. She is passionate about building cohesive teams, fostering professional development, and ensuring programming remains aligned with Pacific Quest’s integrative, whole-person approach to healing.
Ariele holds a J.D. from Suffolk University Law School and a B.A. in International Affairs from Northeastern University. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, traveling around the world, snorkeling, singing, yoga, and spending time laughing with friends.
