Isabel Quarta, MS, LSW

Therapist

Isabel is a licensed social worker currently in the clinical residency process toward full independent clinical licensure. She earned her Master of Social Work from Western New Mexico University and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from The American University of Paris.

Her clinical training has supported her work as a trauma therapy specialist in both outpatient mental and behavioral health settings and inpatient drug and alcohol addiction recovery programs. She has advanced training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), complex trauma treatment, dissociation, and ego state/parts work. Isabel also integrates somatic and nature-based approaches, recognizing the deep connection between the body, nervous system, and emotional healing.

Having lived on Hawai‘i Island for more than a decade, Isabel feels a strong and heartfelt connection to the community and the land. Her work is grounded in a holistic understanding of mental health, attending to the full ecosystem of a person’s life — relationships, environment, culture, and internal experience — to support the natural emergence of lasting, stable well-being.
