Elizabeth Von Der Ahe
Elizabeth von der Ahe, a native of rural Wyoming, received her nursing degree and her Master’s in Education/Counseling simultaneously while a resident of upstate New York. She has worked in women’s health, children’s hospice and respite care, as well as providing first aid/nursing care at remote events such as Burning Man and the Indigenous Wisdom and Permaculture Convergence on the Pine Ridge Reservation.
In 2013, she lived in Mexico where she helped re-establish midwifery care in a state where it had disappeared.
She has three grown children. In her time off she likes to snorkel, swim, hike, garden, and cook healthy homegrown food!
