OFFICE ASSISTANT / ADMISSIONS SUPPORT
A search for sunshine and warm waters brought Julie to the District of Ka’u in 2006. After twenty plus years of working in the financial industry in Washington State and Hawaii and filling various positions including marketing, training and operations, she brings a myriad of skills to Pacific Quest. The Credit Union philosophy is based on “People Helping People”, so coming to work for Pacific Quest was a natural fit. As an Adolescent Program office assistant, Julie has the opportunity to interact and support staff, students and parents.
She has volunteered for many non-profit organizations, and was a Little League Baseball coach for over 10 years. One of her favorite organizations was the Jolly Jesters Dinner Theater, a non-profit organization that provided scholarships for young adults wanting to pursue a career in the “Performing Arts”. As well as serving on the Board of Directors, Julie enjoyed building sets, making costumes and acting in many of the organizations performances. Currently during her leisure time, she enjoys the beach, snorkeling and reading.
