CLINICAL OFFICE MANAGER
Jennifer “JJ” Jones, BS
Jennifer grew up on a small farm in Tennessee. Her passion for farming and the connection to the land is what motivated her to move to Hawaii in 2013. Before moving to the Big Island, Jennifer earned a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Phoenix. While pursuing her degree, she worked as a Project Manager for the Austin campus. During this time, she also volunteered in her community as a representative of the university and helped develop several mentorship programs for adolescents and young adults. She also developed an Alumni Program that connected alumni and current students to the community.
Prior to joining the Pacific Quest team, Jennifer volunteered for a year in California at the Ecology Center in San Juan Capistrano. She connected with her childhood love for living off the land and growing her own food. Jennifer knew that she had to begin a career that connected her passion for sustainable living and helping others to make that same connection. She is passionate about community, ohana and helping others reach their full potential.
In her role as Clinical Office Manager, Jennifer is responsible for general administrative support of the Clinical department, scheduling IP appointments and streamlining the new therapist training. In addition, she assists with managing the Young Adult family program and continuing education courses.
In her spare time, Jennifer loves to hike, run, paddle board, grow her own food and explore the island. She completed the 2014 Triple Crown Half Marathon series on the Big Island and plans to run the series each year.
