Jason Adams, Ph.D.
Dr. Jason Adams is a Licensed Psychologist with extensive experience treating adolescents and adults. He received a Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. There he focused his studies on human development and growth. He completed his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He is the founder of Adams Psychological Assessment & Consulting, Inc., and The Parent Mastery Group. Jason has assisted in research studies related to social skills training and the efficacy of family-focused treatment for troubled youth. He has been a radio co-host on various parenting topics and has engaged in the disaster relief program of the American Red Cross Foundation as a volunteer.
Jason’s clinical experiences include work in a variety of outpatient and residential programs with children and adolescents, including community mental health services, outpatient private practice, and inpatient long-term treatment of the severely mentally ill. He spent many years as a consulting psychologist to various wilderness programs through providing psychological assessment services.
Jason’s background includes psychological testing, as well as individual, family, and group therapy. He is skilled at working with adolescents and families of all needs. Jason is also a fluent Spanish speaker. He loves the outdoors and enjoys running, hiking, camping and spending time with his family.
